Freedom Fest at the National Medal of Honor Museum
This Independence Day weekend, the Museum will host a two-day celebration featuring live music, special screenings, classic American food, fireworks viewing, and opportunities for visitors to reflect on the values that have shaped our nation since 1776. As America approaches its 250th anniversary, Freedom Fest invites guests to connect with stories of service, character, courage, sacrifice, citizenship, and patriotism.
Highlights include a live performance by the 1st Cavalry Division Band, special screenings of an excerpt from Ken Burns’ The American Revolution, classic American favorites at 1861 Café Restaurant, and a fireworks viewing party during Arlington’s Light Up Arlington fireworks show.
